U-Predict – Predictions 2014 - 12/10/2013

The U-Predict Blogtalk radio show is not like other tarot shows on the Internet. We do not read for callers, we read for society in general. Some listeners may not enjoy the fact that some weeks we end up talking about politics. However, the political discussions are a part of the show because politics at every level (family, office, and government) affect people’s lives on a daily basis.  Because of the dysfunction currently in Washington DC, there was no way that you could have a prediction show for next year without politics being a large part of it. Because of the nature of U-Predict sometimes there is no way of proving our accuracy with actual events. However, in the last three days the predictions made by the reading room for 2014 have already started to unfold.

The reading room included Anita Perez, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Joanne Matthew, and ReeNee Cummins.  We were thrilled to add a new readers to the show – IMDWitch.  Mary Nale and Joanne Matthew had sent in predictions for the new year.

The first question asked of the reading room was “Will the dysfunctionality in the government continue into 2014.”  The answer that we got was to look at the far right agenda as something that is inconsequential.  In fact, the Major Arcana card that accompanied this question was The Moon, the card of deception. Late in the week Speaker of the House John Boehner stated "They're using our members and they're using the American people for their own goals. This is ridiculous."  According to the Huffington Post (and many other news sources) Mr. Speaker was responding to conservative groups that hold sway among Tea Party and extremely conservative members of the House of Representatives.   Boehner went on to say that he felt duped (in fact that was the word IMDWitch used to sum up her reading) by these groups who pushed for a shutdown of the government, and then pulled their support after the action was taken.  Apparently, the Reading Room predicted the tone in Washington DC as we end the year and start a new one!

Since we had started out with politics, and next year is an election year, we decided to ask some election questions. Again, tarot insisted that a lot of the shenanigans that will be a part of the next election cycle are truly inconsequential. Joanne Matthew asked the question about the war on women that is being waged at the state level. The cards came back that both men and women are going to begin feeling and understanding how much these narrow-minded decisions are adversely affecting their families.

We did also ask about potential presidential runs. Even though the presidential election is over two years away, many in the media expect one or more people to declare their run in 2014. The cards defined two people, both men, who will declare. The one man appears very pragmatic with a sincere wish to serve the people. The other will be more dynamic, attract a large following, only to be brought down by his own murky past. As far as women candidates, specifically Hillary Clinton, the cards said that she was still undecided.  She is looking as to whether or not she can move the country forward, or if she would be treated as an oddity, to be ignored, because she is the first woman president.

The Moon card was a theme that was strongly reflected in the reading. First, only three Major Arcana cards were pulled; considering this is a reading for society for the next 12 months, this small a number of Major Arcana cards would indicate that there is a general lack of awareness of what is really going on.

This card was also reflected when we asked about raising the minimum wage. The cards answered that the people who could most influence a raise for many working Americans do not understand and choose not to understand the dire straits in which they are placing their employees.

We asked about the weather in the coming year. Again the cards strongly indicated that people are being duped into disbelieving that the climate is changing and one side effect of the change are mega-storms that will shatter lives. The remedy the tarot offered us for this situation is to look at the reality of it, and prepare to both offer aid to those who need it and to strengthen our own homes to withstand the bad weather. People need to be more vigilant of the weather and have a plan as to how they are going to deal with a mega-storm.

To look at the synchronistic cards in this reading is merely to amplify what has already been stated in this blog. The most synchronistic card was the Four of Cups.  The Four of Cups is the card of dissatisfaction. It definitely sums up the feeling of many people – we seem to be heading in either the wrong direction or worse - no direction at all. If one looks at the imagery on the Four of Cups, one sees an angry man looking down. What he fails to notice is a hand offering yet another cup. This is the sublime meaning of this card; if you are dissatisfied, it’s time to find a new direction.  We need to speak up and out about a new direction, one based on hope and fairness.  The Three of Swords was also in synchronicity. This card, and its meaning of heartache, echoes the sentiment of dissatisfaction for many people. The Two of Pentacles also appeared in synchronicity. However half the time it was reversed, meaning that the communication is not successfully being passed between parties. One side is not listening. The Queen of Cups again was in synchronicity. In the last few weeks as we have asked about the directions our society is are taking, we are seeing a strong role for women, for nurturing, and generally towards taking care of others. The tarot is repeating the call of Pope Francis to help those in need. The final Minor Arcana card in synchronicity is the Six of Wands.  This is a card of victory, a victory that comes about by people pulling together and working together.  This seems to be the important lesson that will be stressed that year – is that we need to work together to take care of one another.

As far as the Major Arcana, we had The Moon which talks about the deception that many people believe to be true.   We had The Chariot which tells us that things are moving quickly; but if we decide to hasten our movements further, the whole thing could come crashing around our years.  And again we had a loving nurturing card in the Empress, which has also been synchronistic across many shows.

So to sum up the predictions:  many people have been lied to by organizations and institutions that do not have the general welfare of the population at heart. Hopefully, in Washington DC we are seeing the start of an awakening that will break the log-jam of dysfunctionality. In some cases, like with climate change, it is more important to be able to provide for and take care of people than to stand and argue as to what the cause is. This is especially true when people refuse to listen. More and more Americans will come to feel the pain of selfishness and self-interest.  People will begin to react, and hopefully this will bring about the change we so desperately need.  So what does 2014 hold for you and yours? Now’s the time to get out your cards sit quietly… and U-Predict!

U-Predict – 12/03/2013: The New Baktun – The Promise of a New Consciousness?

A year ago, the month of December was fraught with speculation – was the world going to end?  What was the meaning of the end of the Mayan long count of time keeping, known as a baktun?  A large number of callous folks who saw a way to make a buck, told the world it was doomed on television, the Internet, and in printed material.  The Mayans themselves spoke out and said that it was time of celebration; that humanity would make a turn in consciousness – and that it would quickly be apparent that the corner had been turned.  When dealing with a society who has 144,000 CE years as their longest counted span of time, I had to wonder if they meant quickly as in 5 years or quickly as in 50,000 years.  That, and a bunch of interesting changes taking place on the planet, made me want to ask the tarot this question.  The Reading Room included Ivy Lieberman, Anita Perez, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis, Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.

We started by announcing that the Vatican and Oxford University was releasing a large number of ancient manuscripts online for public view.  Considering how secretive the Vatican had been with documents in the past, the Reading Room took it as yet another sign that things were changing.  Since we had started with the Vatican, it was natural to stay with this institution for our next questions.  The first question, of course, had to do with the fact that Pope Benedict had “retired” and the Catholic Church had replaced him with a completely different kind of clergy; one who was truly concerned with the sick and the poor.  Not only did this man criticize Catholics around the world who had forgotten this part of their compassion, but he has called out governments and members of the media who seem to not understand this value.  Immediately, we began to see the most important card in the reading show up in synchronicity, Judgment.  This card represents the “day of judgment”.  It was very thought provoking to see this card when talking about the values of compassion and care for the sick and poor.  The card also means “wake up.”  This is the meaning that most applied to this reading.  We need to wake up.  Yes, Pope Francis is a sign that things are changing.  Things are moving in a more spiritual direction.

We moved on to the world in general.  The tarot indicated that the Middle East will continue to be a powder keg.  The cards responded that the thousand-plus year old arguments between the peoples in that region will not be resolved.  However the cards were very positive when we discussed the fact that Americans had seemed to grow war weary, and that we were seeing positive results of diplomatic missions instead of boots on the ground.  The cards continued to tell us to wake up, that diplomacy successes were to be interpreted that consciousness was changing.

The rest of the questions are best served by discussing the synchronistic cards.  Besides Judgment (which was pulled an unbelievable 7 times in the hour), the Major Arcana ruled the reading.  Again this only amplifies the importance of the idea that consciousness is changing – this is a critical message that must be shared with the spiritual community.  The Empress, The Hermit, The Hanged Man, Temperance, and the Star were also pulled in Synchronicity.  Usually, a card is pulled 4 or 5 times in synchronicity if it is important; Judgment, The Empress, The Hanged Man, and Temperance were pulled in excess of 5 times.

The meaning of the reading is very clear:  Wake up (Judgment)!  It is a time of rebirth and hope (Star). The Empress is pregnant with the love of the Mother, and abundance will return.  However, there must be balance (Temperance) or you will go nowhere like the (Hanged Man).  Keep seeking and searching your own path (The Hermit).

When we spoke about the United States, the tarot spoke of shenanigans like closing down the government will end with the Hanged Man; a very public and embarrassing way to hang.  The people who choose to behave in this manner must also ask themselves what are they sacrificing by their behavior – could it be the next election, and their chance to be heard?  We will ask election questions on our 2014 prediction show on the 10th

The feminine was very apparent with the number of times the Empress was pulled.  When U-Predict initially did a 12/12/2012 show as well as predictions for 2013, the feminine force and the power of the feminine figured prominently in the reading.  Not only are people clamoring for Hilary Clinton to run for president, but a number of other outstanding women are coming to the attention of the country.  We have Wendy Davis, who fought for Texas women’s rights running for Governor.  Both Senators Elizabeth Warren and Governor Jennifer Grandholm (2-time Governor of Michigan) are also considered contenders for the presidential or vice presidential spot on a national ticket.  Despite her attempted tarnishing by the House of Representatives, National Security Advisor Susan Rice has bravely been meeting with Afghanistan Tribal Leaders to get our troops out of Afghanistan, and give these people a stable society to live in peace.  These men normally would not even consider an idea from a woman, as they usually see women as inferior.  Something is changing to make this possible.

The rising again of women as legislatures across the country try to take away rights that feminist though we settled decades ago, also show the waking of a powerful force of nature.  Again, the Hanged Man and the embarrassing lack of knowledge many legislators have shown about basic human reproduction comes to mind.

As far as Minor Arcana cards in synchronicity, there were only 3.  There was the King of Swords, The 3 of Swords, and the 5 of Wands.  The 5 of Wands shows that despite major changes happening in the world as consciousness changes, people will still fight these ideas.  The King of Swords reminds us that well spoken words, good ideas focused on a better life for people, and the truth will help move the new direction of consciousness forward.  The 3 of Swords shows that people will continued to be wounded at an emotional level as this moves forward.  Change doesn’t come easily for many people, and people lash out in hurtful ways when faced with change.

All in all, I felt our question was answered.  Yes consciousness is changing.  Now is the time to wake up and move humanity forward.  How can we all do this?  U-Predict…

U-Predict Blog – Who Killed President Kennedy – 11/19/2013

There are at least 10 major conspiracy theories that are still being actively pursued as we reach the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination.  Most people who lived through the actual nightmare and the Government investigation that followed question the thoroughness of the Warren Commission – those people who wrote the “history” of what actually happened.  So it was with a swirl of accusations appearing in the media that the Reading Room tackled this issue.  The reading room included Ivy Lieberman, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Elizabeth Kea (Kea Hypnosis), Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.  We were thrilled to add two new readers/commenters to the show – GeminiMoon and AMC28.

First, the number of Major Arcana cards that were pulled was staggering.  While we did not have a great deal of synchronicity with all Majors, most of the 22 Major Arcana were pulled.  The ones that were missing were The Chariot (interesting because JFK was shot while riding in a car), and The Hierophant, which indicates, by its absence, that things would never be the same in the American culture.  The number of Majors also speaks to the scary idea of destiny; was this one of those karmic moments that had to happen?  How did it change us?  Most of us who lived through the 60’s saw it as a time when boundaries were pushed.  Familiar roles and expectations were challenged.  Most important, the people took to the street again and again to steer the nation on a different course.

The Wheel of Fortune was another Major pulled in synchronicity.  Time and civilization moved forward despite the assassination.   But we had other assassinations – the president’s brother Robert; of course, there also was the Reverend Martin Luther King.  Perhaps one lesson we should have gleaned is that a gun doesn’t stop a philosophy or a belief.  We did go to the moon and “do the other things”; we did continue marching (and still do) for civil rights; and we see younger members of political families run for the same, or higher office than their siblings or parents had to keep fighting for what they believe in.

We asked systematically if JFK was killed by the Mafia, the Cubans, and the Government or the CIA itself.  The answer we got repeatedly was that the King of Wands (a man of integrity, but with a single mindedness) did a terrible deed (the Devil or the Tower followed) for money (a pentacle card appeared here).  So the cards support a person carrying out the plans of the assassination for money.  But a man of integrity killed the president of the United States?  Here is where tarot is its most fascinating.  We do not all share the same ideals or beliefs.  Look at our country today.  There is a deep divide; both sides see the other as flawed and dangerous.  That is how most would see Lee Harvey Oswald; but he was a man with deeply-held beliefs and that is what caused him to act.  The fact that he may have received payment for it only throws us back into the quagmire that are the conspiracy theories.  The Devil card also talks about a personal hell caused by thoughts or beliefs.  Here is someone so tortured that he (or they) thought the answer was shooting the President of the United States.

What did Kennedy believe in that was so frightening?    He was pushing for civil rights legislation and the KKK and other organizations were fighting back.  The CIA was angry that he closed their secret bases where they were training snipers to go to Cuba.  He also had talked at the United Nations about the need to cut back on weapons and actual troop numbers.  JFK spoke about not plunging the world into another war.  We currently have a Commander in Chief who won the Nobel Peace Prize for the same sentiment.  He has an Attorney General who is actively perusing civil rights violations caused by voter ID laws.   The number of threats against the current president is up 400%.  Have we learned nothing in 50 years?

There was definitely someone else who didn’t like JFK’s ideals.  We had the 8 of Cups and the 8 of Pentacles in synchronicity as well.  The 8 of Cups speaks of being done with something, ready to move on.  This 8 came up when we ask about a power within our Government being responsible.  The 8 of Pentacles speaks of speeding up the process.  Whoever planned the assassination saw the Dallas trip as the perfect opportunity.  The parade route was changed, the number of Secret Service taken on the trip was reduced, and a hellish schedule of many stops in a two day period provided just that opportunity.

JFK himself was portrayed as the Magician with a high number of synchronicities (7).  It was followed by the Queen of Cups, who I think speaks for his love for his wife and his family.  I think is also speaks in this case about his love of the job and of his love for his country.  He was a man of vision; he did have new ideas – and set about to make them happen.  America was in love with The Magician and Camelot.  What would happen if we were able to have that kind of an experience?  If the American people we to become enamored by a leader and willing to try new things again, would we have a technical leap forward like landing on the moon or helping the whole world with the Peace Corps?   Or did the assassination jade us.  Do we see all of our leaders as fragile – someone who can be removed with a puff of smoke from a gun or the threat of impeachment from those who disagree.

Where are we America?  Do we still mourn The Magician?  Do we want Camelot back?  Will taking our society backward like so many want produce the effect?  U-Predict…

U-Predict - A Prehistoric Atomic War? - 11/12/2013

At Rajasthan in India, radioactive ash covers three square miles.  In this area, an ancient city was unearthed which appears to have been destroyed by an atomic explosion some 8,000 to 12,000 years ago. It has been estimated that half a million people could have died in the blast and it was at least the size of those that devastated Japan in 1945.  It is this unusual fact that inspired this edition of U-Predict.  The Mahabharata is an important source of information on the development of Hinduism between 400 BCE and 200 CE and is regarded as a history. Within the Mahabharata is the description of some kind of a superweapon that was fired with deadly result.  Despite a very close correlation between the description of this weapon, and descriptions of our own modern weapons, and the radiation at Rajasthan, archeologists and anthropologists consider these writings as cultural myths.  So that is the question we asked the tarot - was there a prehistoric atomic war?  Where did the weapon come from? Finally, we asked if a terrorist was going to explode an atomic weapon.

Two weeks ago, we discussed very ancient ruins in South Africa.  The Reading Room produced a synchronistic reading that basically followed the story of the Anunnaki, a people who came from the stars to mine gold on this planet.  Ancient Sumerian texts describe that the Anunnaki’s advanced technology was either weaponized and used in war, or fell into hands who misused it and it caused a catastrophe. ( U- Predict Blog - 200,000 Year Old Ruins).  Many readers were curious if there was a link between that topic and the topic of the prehistoric atomic war.  The Reading Room’s interpretation of the cards in that reading leaned more towards the idea of the technology being misused rather than out and out weaponized.  This subject brought about a similar interpretation.  The reading room included Ivy Lieberman, Anita Perez, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis, Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.

First we had synchronicity with The Sun, The Moon, and The Stars.  (For someone who is unfamiliar with how we use the term, it indicates that several readers pull the card during the reading process).  Any time we discover that we are talking about something extraterrestrial, we get groupings of cards that describe space or the solar system.  So here is a repeat of the prior theme on U-Predict - extraterrestrial civilization with advanced technology.  Of these cards, The Moon was extremely synchronistic.  There are two esoteric theories in play here.  One is that extraterrestrials may have, or had, a base on the moon.  There is also the more likely meaning, that permission to use this technology was falsely obtained.  Either the power was underestimated or the intention was to make a situation better; it was only made worse at the cost of many lives.  We also got the card of The High Priestess.  This card talks about things that are hidden.  Again, this describes the technology as misunderstood - more powerful than realized.  Jean Maurie stated that “I'm getting that they had some kind of mind power that they misused.”  Ivy Lieberman read that “the threat was hidden and experimental, and built over eons, and when it came out of the dark, it took away all that had been accomplished.”  There is also the idea that mainstream science doesn’t want to investigate far from the usual, the established.  One does have to ask themselves what would happen if a much deeper, longer, more exotic history was revealed as truth.  What would happen if ancient myths were actually history that changed our concept of civilization and the institutions that support it (especially religion)?

Of any suit that was pulled we had more swords than any other suit.  This is the suit of the element air.  It bespeaks of thinking things through; it also bespeaks “you reap what you sew.”  Did this civilization reap something bad because they misused their technology?  Did they become too busy chasing gold or other elements to take care to work safely and sanely?  Is this one reason that many find these crypto archeology topics disturbing?  Is there a chance that we keep repeating this cycle, reincarnating into different roles until we get it right?  We had an incredible amount of the 8 of Swords (appeared 8 times in separate readings).  Eight is the number of business.  Perhaps the tarot is telling us the money aspect is most important.  The 8 of Swords also talks about being bound or enslaved by an idea.  Since we’ve already had readings about the wrong decision being made, were the people bound to supporting or believing in this technology?  We also had the 5 of Swords - the card of the opponent winning.  There also was the 4 of Swords, recuperation, but half the cards pulled were reversed.  If this “accident” caused a recuperation, the recuperation was long and arduous.

The only synchronistic Pentacle (material things) was the 5 of Pentacles.  This is a card of disagreement.  Again, the cards point to disagreement between groups on the use of this technology.  We had synchronicities on the 8 and 9 of Wands.  These cards give credence to the other cards.  The 9 of Wands talks about a fair outcome for all involved.  It also is a card of doing the right thing.  However, its companion in this reading is the 8 of Wands, which is about activity speeding up having to produce faster.  Is there a possibility that haste added to this tragedy?  What can that teach us about today and how we make decisions? The only Cup (emotion) that we had in synchronicity was the 7 of Cups.  This is the card of the dreamer and of daydreams.  Did the proponents make grandiose promises?  Is that what convinced people to go along with the misuse of the technology?

The final synchronistic card was the King of Wands.  Over half of these pulls showed a reversed card.  This speaks of being ruthless, unwilling to admit mistakes, being very divisive.  Does this card reach to the very heart of the problem?  Did the hubris of a few, cause the demise of many?  Again, what could we learn from the King of Wands?

Our final question was about the safety of our future, and the possibility of terrorist groups detonating an atomic weapon.  The good news that we got was that it would take more money and technology than current groups now hold to do this.  Will things change?  What can we learn from the radioactivity in Rajasthan?  U-Predict...

U-Predict Blog – The Covert Messiah – Jesus Christ did not exist 11/05/2013

Authors write for many reasons – some to entertain, some to inform.  Some write with the idea of promoting their own agenda.  I have to admit that I wondered if this was the case with Joseph Atwill, who presented a symposium on October 19, 2013 on the concept that Jesus Christ never existed.  Atwill believes his discovery came to him while he was studying “Wars of the Jews” by Josephus (the only surviving first-person historical account of first-century Judea) alongside the New Testament.  Atwill claims that “I started to notice a sequence of parallels between the two texts.  Although it’s been recognized by Christian scholars for centuries that the prophesies of Jesus appear to be fulfilled by what Josephus wrote, he saw dozens more. What seems to have eluded many scholars is that the sequence of events and locations of Jesus ministry are more or less the same as the sequence of events and locations of the military campaign of Titus Flavius as described by Josephus.”

Based on this belief that the stories of this campaign resulted in the creation of Jesus Christ, Atwill wrote the book, Caesar’s Messiah.  The book was also the basis for a video that Atwill released.   Joseph Atwill is not alone; every few years someone steps forward and claim they have proof that Jesus never existed.  This made me wonder what the tarot would say about Atwill and Jesus Christ himself.  The readers for today’s show included: Ivy Lieberman, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis, Joanne Matthew, and ReeNee Cummins.

So we began with the question “what is more important, the personage of Jesus Christ and belief in him; or belief in his message?”  Across the board, all readers got that the message of Jesus is the most important.  Ivy read that "the message was presented expecting to change the world at the time.”  Considering how the Romans treated captive nations, it is easy to see how this message would have had a big impact.  The captives were urged to take care of each other; to grow into a family of spirit and love.  This message is ageless; despite the fact that we are a free nation, it is still valuable advice.

I then ask about Joseph Atwill.  Was he just using his theory to make money, or was he sincere with his writings.  The cards showed a man who was sincere.  He truly believes that he has made an important discovery.  The Reading Room then asked about using holy books as history.  The cards stated that the books were more about parables or stories that may give direction as to how to live; to considering these books as factual is problematic.  Joanne Matthew said “Sometimes the bible reminds me of the game, rumor----some stories that just went viral and grew and grew.”  The cards agreed.

In turning to the synchronicities in the cards, the three Major Arcana cards had a complete message.  We had The Magician, The Star, and the World.  The synchronicity stated that the message of the “Magician” brought hope to the world.  This is not a statement that one religion is better than another, it is stating that loving and caring for others is a message that applies to the whole world, no matter the culture or their beliefs.  The Magician is an interesting card in this reading.  It could allude to the idea of a master miracle worker which the Bible claims Jesus Christ had the power.  It also speaks of our personal decision to practice these ideas; that we have the ability to change the world through our power of compassion.

When we move into the Minor Arcana we start with the Ace of Swords and the 5 of Swords.  Swords deal with air – with concepts and ideas.  The Ace speaks to a new idea, or an idea whose time had come.  The 5 of Swords is about how the idea has been torn apart and misused.  This part of the reading was surrounded by Pentacles.  It is hard not to look back through history and see how the personage of Jesus has been used to make money; in some cases control governments.  History is riddled with death and misery when people claim the message without practice.  The cards agree.

Speaking of the Pentacles, we received synchronicities on the Queen of Pentacles, 4 of Pentacles, and 10 of Pentacles.  In additional to the material the Reading Room derived an additional meaning for the Pentacles – that they also represent the root of a belief.  This adds another dimension to the reading.  How much more secure (10 of Pentacles) would we all be if “love your neighbor as yourself” was the cornerstone of all society.  The 4 of Pentacles could stand for the idea that one wouldn’t have to horde if society was sharing.  The Queen of Pentacles is the business woman.  The idea of the mother/nurturer sharing the wealth across society.

We also had synchronicities with the Knight of Wands and the Queen of Wands.  The Queen again speaks of the root of belief, taking things back to the simple, the root of the belief.  The Knight is about making it happen.  Taking our power (back to the Magician) and using it to love others and share what we have.  Now how much better would society be?  You Predict…

U-Predict - The 200,000 Year Old Ruins of Africa - Broadcast date: 10/08/2013

At the tip of southern Africa, there are over a million circular-shaped ruins. For decades archaeologists recognized a few dozen of these structures, and theorized that the structures were thought to be a few thousand years old, built by a primitive people. Because of the circular shape of the ruins, the interpretation was that they were either animal pens or the foundations of houses.
Over the past 20 years, archaeologist and scientists like Michael Tellinger, Cyril Hromnik, Richard Wade, Johan Heine and a handful of others have theorized that these stone structures are not what the seem to be. In fact these are now believed to be the remains of ancient temples and astronomical observatories of lost ancient civilizations that stretch back for hundred of thousands of years. These circular ruins are spread over a huge area. Looking at the entire area or metropolis, it becomes obvious that this was a well planned community, developed by a highly evolved civilization. Underneath all of this is a huge number of ancient gold mines that suggests the reason for the community being in this location.   Michael Tellinger is quick to point out that these ruins may correlate to the work of Zecharia Sitchin, who translated ancient Sumerian clay tablets that chronicle the arrival of an advanced  human-like extraterrestrial race called the Anunnaki. Sitchin wrote that they first arrived on Earth probably 450,000 years ago, looking for minerals, especially gold, which they found and mined in Africa.
Also according to Sitchin, ancient inscriptions report that the human civilization in Sumer, Mesopotamia, was set up under the guidance of these the Anunnaki who were seen as gods, and human kingship provided intermediaries between mankind and the Anunnaki.  This created the "divine right of kings" doctrine.Sitchin says that his research coincides with many biblical texts, and that biblical texts come originally from Sumerian writings.
I have included all this information about  Zecharia Sitchin’s work, because the information we got from the reading on the ancient African ruins match the story in Sitchin’s work.  In addition, the basic historical line about these ancient civilization appear over and over in our blogs on ancient civilizations in this part of the world.    The readers for today’s show included: Ivy Lieberman, Mary Brown (TarotDacty), Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.

We started with questions about ancient technologies.  The rocks that these ruins are made out of have unusual sound properties - they ring when struck.  Previously, we had asked if the ancient Egyptian dynasties had electricity.  The answer we got was that while they had a source of energy, but that we didn’t understand it.  Asking questions about using sound and using these stones gave us a positive answer.  We asked if these were the ruins of the Anunnaki; we were told that it was a very ancient civilization - the card The Star showed up in synchronicity.  It should be noted that anytime we talk about ancient technology,The Star appears.  While the card holds promises of hope and better days ahead, the Reading Room agreed that this was an interesting coincidence and lead us to wonder if the card should be taken as an indication that this technology DID come from the stars.  The Anunnaki?

Since these ruins are on the same continent as Egypt, and the Sumerian culture was located in modern Iraq, we asked if the Egyptians actually built the pyramids or did they “inherit” the technology and the pyramids themselves.  While the cards did not agree on the pyramids themselves, tarot did indicate that they Egyptians did inherit the technology from an earlier civilization. Tarot also indicates that the Egyptians did not completely understand what they were given and was unable to utilize the technology to the fullest.

The technology was very powerful.  Two people in the reading room got the same idea in two different readings.  Mary Brown (TarotDactyl) read that “hi-tech but may have gone too far which may have been their downfall.”  And Ivy Lieberman intuited “perhaps the technology was moving too fast.  Brought by aliens? Maybe...and although it was wonderful, it was also dangerous.”  These descriptions also match those of Sitchin and others who have studied the story of the Anunnaki and the destruction these technologies caused..

The entire collection of synchronistic cards closely followed what is believed by adherents of the visit of the Anunnaki to Earth.   We pulled The Emperor, The High Priestess, and  The Hierophant.  The story is the Anunnaki presented themselves as Gods.  They controlled the technology. Common belief is that they genetically altered or bread with the primates that already lived on the planet (we pulled the Ace and Two of Wands - the start of a new cycle of ideas).  These three cards would speak of that power, carefully controlled (at least initially).   They also set up demi-gods or rulers who would control the masses.  Their luck was short-lived; the Wheel of Fortune and the Hanged Man speaks of plans being upset.  We also pulled the Ace of Pentacles - all in a reversed position.  This would mean that the idea was not successful in the long run.  This ties in with the readings that the technology got out of control mentioned before.  Ivy also brought out the idea that perhaps they stripped the planet, and it’s taken this long to recover.

We also pulled Queen of Pentacles, the Knight of Pentacles, and the Knight of Cups.  This gives us the ruling class.  Someone good with the financial aspects of the business, as well as overseeing the workers were put in important positions and taught about the technology.  This also would give us the priestly class.  Synchronicity also happened with the 7 of pentacles (a long, waiting period for success) and the Ten of Pentacles (having all the resources).  This all matches the story that Sitchin translated.

While the cards did not give us a definitive answer that these circles are the ruins of Anunnaki.  However, the cards did follow the information about the Anunnaki and translated by
Zecharia Sitchin.  Does this give us a definitive answer?  U-Predict...

U-Predict, 9/17/2012 – the Disappointment of the Hierophant – The Readers tackle “Did Ancient Egypt have Electricity?”

There is archaeology, and then there is rogue archaeology.  Neither match the romantic idea of Dr. Indiana Jones – archaeology is slow and laborious.  Currently, the most published and televised data supports the ideas that have been around from the last century; the Egyptians were obsessed by the afterlife.  They preserved the bodies of the royalty.  They built massive pyramid-shaped tombs for these royals.  It’s in elementary text books – It was there in the 60’s when I was in elementary school, and it hasn’t changed.
Then there is rogue archaeology.  These are the “crazy like a fox” archaeologists who notice things like “gee they never found a body in the crypts in the pyramids”; and “it would have taken the Egyptians over 2000 years to build the pyramids – not the 20 as recorded in the text books.  Names like Graham Hancock and Carmen Boulter, PhD lead the field.  Regular science is outraged by their theories, and the support they are gathering.  So against this background U-Predict asking an interesting question “Did the ancient Egyptians have electricity?”  Psychics that participated in the Reading Room included:  IvyLieberman, Latifah Abdul'laah (Underland Tarot Musings), Jean Maurie Puhlman, Anita Perez, Elizabeth Dennan, Becky Graywolf (WindLady) ReeNee Cummins, and Dax Carlisle.

The first question was “Did the Egyptians build the pyramids?”  Most of the Reading Room felt that the pyramids were much older – that they were inherited or claimed by the civilization that we think of as the Egyptians.

The second question was “Does archaeology give us a correct picture about the use of the pyramids?”  The readers indicated that science wanted to keep the whole thing tidy, and to continue down the same line of research, while ignoring things they couldn’t explain.  We had our first Project TAROT moment with The World card; one being upright, the other reversed.  This was Major Arcana proof of what we had been talking about.  One World showed us that we had a complete theory of the civilization; the other showed that there was a whole theory and research yet to be pursued.

The Reading Room turned its attention to the work of Nikola Tesla.  Because Tesla theorized other ways of generating/distributing electricity, many of the rogue archaeologists look to these theories to expand the possibilities that the Egyptian civilization was much more advanced than defined.  The Project TAROT moment came with the Tower card.  There was amusement, as Tesla’s theories utilized towers to distribute electricity.  However, a deeper meaning of the Tower card is a person who truly shakes things up.  Tesla’s theories definitely did that – and now they are being revisited to see if they are more efficient in energy transmission/distribution.

The next two questions flowed together:  “Were the conditions right to generate electricity with the pyramids 10 – 15,000 years ago?” and “Were electric power tools used to cut monuments in Egypt?”  The Reading Room identified that there was a power source, but that it would not be understood by our level of science.  This would explain why few archaeologists would recognize the technology.  The Reading Room identified that the lasers were used to cut/shape the stones.  Jean Maurie identified the laser tools, and Dax immediately got confirmation with a yes/no spread (5 cards to the yes).  This is one area that the rogue archaeologists focus on – the fact that the stone work from ancient Egypt is so fine and accurate.

At this point Anita Perez called in and talked about some past life work she had done with a group of people.  She had talked about being in a chamber and using the resonance of the chamber and a crystal to amplify energy.  She said that the group of people weren’t sure that they had the proper technique.  ReeNee told the listeners that chambers exactly like those Anita described that had been discovered by Dr. Carmen Boulter.  These chambers had used resonance.  However their actual purpose remains a mystery.
The final two questions:  “Will hard evidence ever arise about advanced ancient civilizations?” and “Does science understand that it is hurting its authenticity with its current theories?”  are best answered by the Project TAROT moment cards for the entire show:  Five of Cups, The World, The Hierophant, and The Lovers.  The Five of Cups is about disappointment.  The rogue archaeologists are disappointed that their ideas are ignored.  Mainstream archaeology faces the disappointment of disappearing funding for expeditions, no support from Middle-Eastern governments to do research, and the destruction of potential sites by desert nomads.  Overall disappointment from a collective consciousness standpoint is that we want to know.  People are interested and are getting more interested in the unexplained artifacts in the world.
This now refers to The World card.  How would our world change if we had knowledge that there had been an advanced civilization all over the planet that was somehow destroyed?  Would this become a focus of the current civilization – finding out what happened?  Or would most people want not to be bothered with ancient problems or disasters.  The Hierophant represents traditional science.  Science is already dealing with the rejection of evolution by fundamentalist religions; what would be the result if long established facts were overturned in another discipline?

The final card is The Lovers.  This card may appear surprising, but in actuality it makes a lot of sense.  There is a lot of romance about archaeology and ancient cultures.  There also is a lot of romance about a lost civilization and what we could learn from such a discovery.  The Lovers is also a card of choice – which is our true love?  Do we want the next generation of scientists to stick to tradition or are we willing to have them dig deeper and perhaps overturn long cherished beliefs?   U-Predict…

U-Predict – Is there a Secret US Space Program? 09/29/2013

Blogger’s note – THE DOG ATE MY HOMEWORK!  I had done the calculations for a couple of shows (this one included) and sat down to write, only to find that my 9-month old Lab mix Buddy was feeling teen-age doggie angst, and decided to get even buy eating them……..

During a 1955 speech at West Point, General Douglas MacArthur told assembled cadets

“The next war will be an interplanetary war. The nations of the earth must someday make a common front against attack by people from other planets.”

The government of the United States spends more on defense and defense related programs than any other government on the planet.  A percentage of this money disappears in to “black projects” – top secret and above secret projects that the average tax payer will never know about.  This is where the U-2 and Blackbird spy planes came from.   There have been hints at a replacement aircraft for the Blackbird, but no one is willing to talk about it.  Conspiracy theorists talk about strange contrails left by an unknown craft; out of the desert of Utah came pictures of a plane-like vehicle taking off vertically headed straight for space.  With all the talk, photos and theories (and the fact that aerospace particularly manned-spaceflight is my background), I wanted to see what the cards said.

The readers for today’s show included: Anita Perez, Patti Phare-Camp, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.
A few thoughts; this broadcast only looks at the concept of governments on this planet putting together a secret space force.  There are other theories; these theories either support an alien-shared defense for Earth to prevent attack from yet other races, or a support to build up our technology so the aliens can come back or rule supreme.   There are also those who feel that aliens are building a hybrid race that will survive either climate or solar system catastrophes that are coming our way.  These are probably theories that would be better served by their own investigation on a future show.
We started with the questions that surround this conspiracy – did we get vehicles from reverse engineering crashed UFO’s.  Cards reflected that if such research had been done, that the results have fallen short.  There was a strong presence of pentacles (money), which begged the question “could business wait to make a whole vehicle, or would they jump on the cash as inventions were spun off?”  While we were on money, there was a discussion of rich men Like Richard Branson and Elon Musk who are spending their money on space programs.  Of course, both are inventing as they go along, so if there is any alien technology involved it played minor parts.

Jean Maurie Puhlman asked probably the most important, but unasked question:  “Why would we ask for a space program from a more advanced race?”  Truly, could we not ask them the way towards personal and world peace; how to rid ourselves of disease or how to feed everyone on the planet?

Anita Perez talked about a friend who had a successful writer for a mother.  She was approached by a person who claimed to be involved in a program to get rich, white families off the planet.  Supposedly, the families were of Arian background.  The cards said that despite the fact that several families on the planet have the money, there would be too much in-fighting between the families for this plan to move forward.

In-fighting about a secret space program or secret technology basically defined the entire dynamic per the tarot for the rest of the show.  We had plenty of 5’s from all suites.  Fives are about disagreement, fighting, and vanquishing one’s opponent.  There is definitely no effort between governments to do this, not with these cards!  Other synchronistic cards were The Wheel of Fortune and The Star (only Major Arcana cards).  This sums up the history of mankind going into space – we aim for the stars full of hope, only to have the Wheel of Fortune come along – be it a hardware failure or a change in politics – and the whole project gets swept to the dustbin of history.  If we were to have a strong secret program, the technology would be “leaked” into the visible program if there was any interest in the program at all.  This just hasn’t happened.   This has repeatedly lead to the 5 of Cups, disappointment (ask people who worked on the Apollo program or the Shuttle program).  This just is not seen as a huge importance for any country on the planet.  Yes, the Chinese have a program – but their hardware is equal to where the US was back in 1971.

The final two synchronistic cards were the 4 of Wands and the 7 of Wands.  In this instance, the 4 of Wands would speak of building a good foundation, and a foundation that would involve a multi-nation program.  This way, one government would not hold the keys to the future of the program.  The other card, however, the 7 of Wands talks about the need of one person or (government) having to be the “top space dog”.  So all in all, the cards said that a human based secret program wasn’t happening or wasn’t a major factor.  However one where we’re getting willing alien support – well, U-Predict.

U-Predict - Those Pesky Skeletons.......

Numbers 13:31-33
Holy Bible - New International Version (NIV)
31 But the men who had gone up with him said, “We can’t attack those people; they are stronger than we are.” 32 And they spread among the Israelites a bad report about the land they had explored. They said, “The land we explored devours those living in it. All the people we saw there are of great size. 33 We saw the Nephilim there (the descendants of Anak come from the Nephilim). We seemed like grasshoppers in our own eyes, and we looked the same to them.”

Sometimes the job of an archaeologist or anthropologist is difficult at best. It’s not so much that they face an Indiana Jones-type adventure, but what they find is what is troubling; they find “stuff” that makes no sense. Modern science would laugh and does laugh at the description of the Nephilim-people who are giants who would look at a normal sized human as a grasshopper. But of course, many people truly believe that what is between the covers of the holy Bible is the true history of the planet. To confuse the whole issue, we have a whole bunch of pesky skeletons in the “stuff” that come from around the world. Some of these skeletons come from creatures who are 8 or 9 feet tall. (It is interesting to note, that that is the exact size of a Sasquatch or Bigfoot as described today by Bigfoot hunters.) When discovered, most of these skeletons are quickly whisk away to a museum for disposal in the basement under the category of “WTF”. At the other end of this conundrum, we have skeletons with oddly misshapen heads. Archaeologists and anthropologists have generally dismissed this as the practice of “cradleboarding”.   In this practice a child’s head was tied to a long board in hopes of changing the shape of the skull. However many of the skulls found could not have been shaped by this practice.

With the advance of the Internet, YouTube, and numerous picture sharing sites, unusual finds may make it to the attention of the press or curious fans of crypto-archaeology literally at the speed of light. The trip to the basement of long forgotten stuff is much, much harder today than ever before.  After seeing a number of stories in the regular press about both the finding of extremely tall or extremely misshapen skeletons inspired this edition of U-Predict.

The Reading Room included Ivy Lieberman, Joanne Matthews, Ramona McKee, ReeNee Cummins, and Dax Carlisle, with a new participant who signed in as Dayvd.

Of course with the strange misshapen skulls, everyone’s eyes turned skyward. Was it possible that we had found the skeletons that would give us the long sought evidence that we are not alone in the universe and that we are and have been visited by extraterrestrials since the dawn of mankind? The cards pulled agreed that many of these skeletons represented the many different species who had visited this planet.  What was interesting was that the cards that were pulled agreed with the Bible story that these people had advanced knowledge. It is interesting to note that most esoteric literature refers to one or more masters who came to teach people the great truths of the universe. The cards pulled on this question, also described and that these people had to leave the planet. If one continues reading in the Bible in the book of numbers, the battles that were fought against and in fact defeated these learned giants are described. To go into another area of crypto-archaeology, that dealing with ancient astronauts, one finds plenty of references in ancient Hindu texts and in other texts that describe horrific battles.  The cards were fairly adamant that the race that had left the skeletons had had to leave the earth.

Of course, the other tantalizing possibility that was discussed was the idea that these people were our ancestors. Again most of the cards picked referenced the concept that there had been interbreeding between the species. We had learned enough from them to kick off our technology spurt.  Anita Perez mentioned the Starchild skull.   It's not only differently shaped, it is materially different. Trying to cut a sample of bone ruined diamond drills and saw blades.  Ivy Lieberman asked the interesting question if dating these skulls would give us a glimpse as to how and when our DNA was changed. Were the mother’s human, or were they also alien hybrids?

Another possibility that was discussed was the idea of inter-dimensionality.  Could the creatures who left the skeletons possibly have wandered here from another dimension, only to die here leaving there remains. One theory proposed by the reading room was that perhaps Bigfoot is the ancestor of the species that visited earth, and that its ability to hide all traces of its existence was a result of the knowledge of the species. The cards didn’t offer a strong positive on this theory.

As far as synchronistic cards, there was only one of the major arcana that stood out- and that was the card of the tower. The tower does match the story we were given on the individual questions. Something happened, and one or more races were forced to leave the earth. The cards also give is a tantalizing clue as to why these civilizations departed. We pulled a number of Kings of swords. While the King of swords can represent someone who is wise but speaks bluntly, when paired with the tower one would read a warlike tendency.

Another card which gave us a number of synchronicities was the sixes of all suits.  Numerologically, sixes are full of good intentions. They want to help. However, the flipside of six is to be paranoid and distrustful. Again a story as old as time, that there were battles between civilizations and civilizations were destroyed is supported by the pull of the cards.  In fact, in India they are finding ruins that are radioactive. This matches the final synchronistic card, 10’s of all suits. Because the 10 represents the end of an era, the end of a way of thinking, perhaps we are to see the archaeological breakthroughs that are too overwhelming to ignore. Do the the theories that we were taught as fact in school about our ancient history need to again be reduced to theories?  It certainly would encourage learning and curiosity if many theories were presented about the ancient world and civilizations and then let the youth do their own research and come to their own conclusions.  What are your conclusions? U-Predict – Were There Other Human-Like Species on Earth – 09/24/2013

A good deal of the ideas behind today’s show comes from a theory by the author of Forbidden Archeology, Michael Cremo. Michael is a member of the History of Science Society, the World Archeological Congress, the Philosophy of Science Association, the European Association of Archaeologists and an associate member of the Bhaktivedanta Institute, specializing in history and philosophy of science.  These societies all are pushing to bring a more philosophical dynamic to hard science, looking at what would happen if you added a form of spirituality to the research, or what effect a major, history changing discovery would mean to all of society.  I personally will highly recommend the book to anyone is has an interest in crypto archeology.

Cremo’s primary philosophy is the opposite of the “ancient alien” theory.  He believes that may different types of humanoids have inhabited the planet, only to “graduate” through enlightenment to another dimension.  Later in time, intelligent design begins again to create a being that can learn from the conditions on earth.  In some cases, one civilization may gain the legacy of a previous civilization – the Egyptians may have inherited the pyramids.  It is up to the next humanoid race to interpret the previous civilization, and continue the use of a technology or develop their own.  He uses this as an explanation as to why the “guesses” of the early 1900’s about different ancient cultures are proving inaccurate in light of the more advanced science that we have today.  He stresses that we have a lot to learn from these past civilizations, and that we should not turn our back on new theories just because they don’t match what we were told in high school or college.

The readers for today’s show included: Anita Perez, Ivy Lieberman, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Kea Hypnosis Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.
We started asking questions with a black or white perspective – were the skeletons alien or were they different humanoids?  The cards said that we had both.  But the cards also asked us if that really mattered?  Do we need to confuse the discussion of unexplained archeology with a number of different theories of who these beings are, where they came from, or if a deity was involved?  Should we not be more interested in what these beings left us to discover as far as rediscovered ancient science and not worry about who they might have been.

The Major Arcana card that echoed this thought was the Temperance card.  The card speaks to keeping a balance; a balance between science and spirituality, and a balance between what people hold near as a belief.  The other Major Arcana that was pulled in synchronicity was the Sun.  Again, the reading was multi-level – first there is realizing that there are people who just want to sit in the sunshine, and not have to do any deep thinking; second there are people who want to dig deep, show the light on the truth of where we come from.  We have to ask ourselves if we can live with both.

The Minor Arcana synchronicities started with the Ace of Swords - a powerful, new idea that people may not like.  We have evolution, which science now claims as fact, and we have a deity-centric creation that a lot of very religious people believe in.  Now we add ancient aliens and a new theory that civilizations are created by intelligent design, to fulfill the spiritual need of a bunch of souls.    The Four of Wands is about a firm foundation.  What kind of a firm foundation do we have to move science forward?  Should we worry about where we came from, or more interested in understanding their technology and seeing if would could improve our world with it?

The next card was the pesky King of Pentacles.  Ah, yes, the man with the money.  Even though books like Forbidden Archeology sell well, but the people with the purse strings are dissuaded by those with pieces of paper and research that keeps the status quo.  When one considers what could happen to the foundation of civilization if there was proof that everything we believed was wrong, it is easy to understand why money supports the most basic understanding of The Sun card – just sit and enjoy the sunshine.  The final synchronistic card was the 7 of Pentacles, the perfect card to end the reading.  The answer will only come with patience.  Patience with humanity as much as patience with the science that would help us decipher this technology.  Where do we come from and does it matter…U-Predict.

U-Predict Blog – Personal Responsibility – 09/17/2013

At the core of some of the bitterest debates in society is the idea of personal responsibility.  Government officials claim that if people were “more responsible” they would get jobs and quit taking government handouts.  Citizens claim that if gun owners would truly support “personal responsibility”, we could get better gun safety regulations passed.  The old claim the young have no personal responsibility; the young say that senior citizens didn’t take personal responsibility for their old age and the young now foot the bill…and on, and on.  In fact, a personal friend who has connections to the paranormal entertainment industry asked me to do a show on this topic.  Quite frankly, if I had met him at 25, and he had offered me even an internship to pursue what fascinated me, along with meeting people who could help me further my career, I would have cleaned up after zombies.  But he says this is not the case.  That alone intrigued me enough to what to pull cards on this topic.

The Reading Room for this show included Anita Perez, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Ivy Lieberman, and ReeNee Cummins.  We added Energytherapies as a new visitor and contributor to the show.

We started with the routine questions – parental responsibility to teach, learned helplessness from reading too many help-yourself books (aka your life IS screwed up), and even looked at if “teaching to the test” had caused a decline in learning self-responsibility.  What we got was surprising and but thought provoking from the tarot.   The tarot said that self-responsibility was something that mankind had tried to avoid for thousands of years.  When you look at religion stretching back far into history, you see a pattern of being able to blame an outside entity (like a devil or evil spirit) for their bad behavior.  We also have the religions who tell the adherents to complete an act or believe on a person or event in history and they are absolved of their “sins”.  Many interpret this as be able to go on their merry way, behaving as they wish because they are “saved”.

The Reading Room had their own ideas and opinions about what caused the lack of self-responsibility.  Anita Perez brought up and defended the idea that societal norms were tightening; this gives people the self-granted right to bully and be bigoted against those who saw the world differently.  Finally, these folks just give up – go their own way, surviving the best they could.  Ivy Lieberman talked about the importance of self-esteem – and how it is the gateway to compassion as an adult.  Ivy and Jean Maurie both talked about how self-esteem allows a person to follow their own path, and not fall victim to the societal norms we had discussed earlier in the show.  Both ReeNee and Energytherapies talked about the problem of enabling, and how many people did not understand that there is a huge difference between building self-esteem and just giving in or enabling someone to make poor decisions about their life.

The Major Arcana cards gave us a picture of the situation as well as a solution.  First card in synchronicity was the Hermit.  Bottom line, we go it alone.  This has been one of the strongest messages in all our broadcasts – YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE.  You decide your life, you create your fate, and in the end, you have to accept the consequences.  The next Major in synchronicity was Justice, but in all cases the pulled card was REVERSED.  Humanity does not want this responsibility.  Many do not want to stand for justice, for the right thing.  We would rather continue along either beating our chests in triumph as we watch our opponents struggle, or cry piteously that “what we did in a previous life” caused the misery we face now (forgetting that we dropped out of high-school, cheated on our spouse which destroyed our family, or abused our bodies to the point of chronic ill health).  And the final major was the card of Judgment.  For the purpose of this reading, the card should be read literally as in karma will judge, and in the classical sense of WAKE THE HELL UP – it doesn’t work like you think it does.

The Minor Arcana gave us a good idea of the dynamic behind this topic – we had the 5 of Wands and the 5 of Swords.  This reflects both the battle between people willing to help people in need whatever the reason and the 5 of Swords, which is vanquishing your enemy – making the little people suffer.  We had the 2 of Swords which said that choosing not to help was not a monumental problem (interesting to note that within days of the show, Pope Francis had told his churches to quit focusing on politics and going back to helping those in need), and that a solution of reaching out to those people could be achieved.  We were given an answer in the Minors as well – We had the Queen of Wands (the sharp idea lady), the King of Cups (the fatherly mentor) the Page of Wands (an adolescent type who may not realize that there are things to learn) and the Ace of Wands.

We need new thinking!  There are programs abounding in the US where people at any age are taught to start over.  There are the developers and trainers who get people thinking; there are loving mentors who take people under their wing and given them skills.  These programs have a track-record of success.  That is where our focus should be.  This is the answer to the Major Arcana telling us to wake the hell up.  The answer is yes, we will help teach these people instead of letting them flounder.  We will tell them that they are terrific, and we will help them find a place where their terrific-ness fits in.  The final card was the 10 of Pentacles.  Are we ready to help people find that level of security…U Predict!

U-Predict - All about Psychic Vampires - 09/10/2013

If you are at all a psychic/sensitive, you feel them the minute they enter the door – something is not off, their energy isn’t normal.  If you are in a professional setting, you try to put it behind you.  You greet the person, shake hands – and start to wish you were somewhere else.  This is where experience and study pays off.  You no longer fight the feeling; you start to ground, guard, and ward.  You’re dealing with a psychic vampire.

Some of these people know exactly what they are doing; some have no idea.  Some practice vampirism to enhance their own strength; others believe that they are spiritually unable to maintain their own life force, and must feed on others.  There are two types – some are emotional vampires, they want to feel and absorb strong human emotion.  The second type wants to literally steal life-force energy from the people they are around.  Most psychics and sensitives run into this type quickly after deciding to do energy work (psychic readings, Reiki, holding spiritual rituals).  Because it is so unsettling, first-time experiencers are quick to turn toward the large community to ask what happened.  On the other hand, some psychics/sensitives claim the whole psychic vampire thing is just nonsense, or that if you flood them with love they will leave.   The term is also adopted by the fringe psychology community.  However, these vampires are out to suck the live out of your career; they are the disrupters, the complainers, the back-stabbers in the next cubicle; few of these descriptions match what they paranormal community considers a psychic vampire (usually, the term is used to sell books).  If you ask a mainstream psychologist, especially one who practices Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), you will be informed that what is happening is you are projecting the feelings on the other person, and once you stop, it will stop (it doesn’t).

So considering that I had been told that I was using silly, old-fashioned ideas about psychic vampires by some psychics/sensitives, and that no “real” psychologists want to discuss the topic, I thought it would be a very interesting topic for U-Predict.  I was right; we had one of the fullest Reading Rooms in the history of the show.  The readers included: Anita Perez, Ivy Lieberman, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins. Eric Risinger of Paraencountersnetwork joined the Reading Room with a psychic vampire story of his own, Kea Hypnosis joined and added from the perspective of a hypnotherapist, and Oracle Treehouse gave us a sanity check with an oracle deck.

First, the participants in the Reading Room all had experiences with psychic vampires – no one agreed that they were nonsense.  Ivy Lieberman had written documents for her coven on how to deal with one if they showed up to participate in a ritual or other activities.  Eric talked about meeting one at a paranormal event.  The vampire had sought him out later alone to try to feed.  He had frightened the person away by psychically yelling at him.  Reenee recounted a similar experience when she and Mary Nale were attending an event.  The psivamp had left after some psychic screaming.

Several members of the Reading Room recommended crystal and stone wards to keep psivamps (as they like to be called) away.  Ivy Lieberman suggested opal, moonstone, and obsidian and the herb yarrow.

Anita Perez suggested hematite, black tourmaline, and dragon’s blood resin.  ReeNee suggested jet and amber as a necklace.  ReeNee also recommended a mudra of linking the index fingers and thumbs in a chain.  Even articles written by psivamps themselves claimed that the hand mudra would stop them.

As far as the cards themselves, the reading was very deep and very powerful.  The High Priestess, The Hermit, and The Devil were the Major Arcana cards.  The High Priestess answered the question posed by ReeNee on the cause of psivamps – the reasons are hidden and not singular.  There could be past live lessons to be learned; this could be a learned skill that gives the practitioner (especially emotional vampires) a rush or high; it may be part of some kind of personal spiritual practice.  The Hermit speaks that this can cause a person to live a very solitary life.  Many people flee when they come in contact with any psivamp.   Some do not understand their effect on other people, and just retreat from close relationships.  Some decide that there must be a positive side to the condition, and use their energy sensing for the positive.  These psivamps give readings and doing paranormal research.  This is the other side of The Hermit – seeking the positive side of a situation.  Then there is the Devil.  Again, a card that has two meanings, one that the person feels trapped in a hell not of their making, or using and manipulating others for one’s own gain.  The Major Arcana matched the research done for the show.  Some psivamps know but dislike and feel helpless about their condition, others use it as a necessity, and a third group sucks energy for the enjoyment and control of others.

Even the Minor Arcana reflected strong energy – the Kings of Wards and Swords.  With these two kings we have a good representative of the human energy system – the life force and brain activity.  What was most interesting was that the other Minor Arcana was that it was the 3 of Cups – but all draws were reversed.  Instead of the 3 being about gayety and happiness it is about stuck energy – again back to the concept people not wanting to be around these types of folks.

Are you ready to deal with a psivamp?  U-Predict…

U-Predict blog – Is Enlightenment the Missing Link between Science and Religion – 09/03/2013

Cyber Delphi is based on social experimentation. Yes, we do interpret the tarot, looking for signs of synchronicity on a given topic, but it is people who interpret cards and share their interpretation and philosophy as the broadcast moves along. Because this involves social experimentation, we sometimes re-examine a topic to see if our answers either match or are close in nature.  This is required by the scientific community because people change their minds and their beliefs sometimes on a daily basis. By getting two similar readings on a similar topic, we strengthen the correlation that synchronicity exist and can be a tool used to improve society in the world. This show was similar to one done on whether or not religion helps or harmed man.  There were synchronicities between the two readings; however this reading which focused on enlightenment gave us a much stronger card set to work with.  Note:  While the word “enlightenment” was used in the title, the term consciousness was considered a broader understanding and was used for the questions on the broadbast.

The Reading Room for U-Predict included: Anita Perez, Ivy Lieberman, Jean Maurie Puhlman, Joanne Matthews, and ReeNee Cummins.

The underlying theme to the questions asked was that a utopian society would be built once our science and religion found common ground. Some of the questions that we posed asked if religion would completely disappear, if it would morph into a hybrid that included both philosophies, or would some continue to cling to the ancient ways. The answer we got was that we would continue to cling to not only our religions but to the books that supported them.  This also affected the answer to the question about world peace. The cards indicated that because people would continue to cling to the ancient, the blending of science and religion would not solve problems based on religious beliefs or interpretations.  In questions about money for scientific research or a space program, the tarot told us that those were economic issues and funding would not increase just because of an increase in consciousness.

Again, as with our last show, we pulled an unusually high number of Major Arcana cards.  Last show we pulled nine Major Arcana cards; this week, the number was seven. The tarot seems to be asking us to pay attention to our consciousness when undertaking scientific research, reading, or tasks. The tarot is also saying that if we approach scientific discoveries with an open mind and heart, we may be shown where these discoveries fit in with the grand plan of the Universe.  The Major Arcana cards that were pulled were The Magician, The High Priestess, The Emperor, The Lovers, Strength, Justice, and The Devil. To glimpse down this list and quickly review the meaning of these cards defines the struggle that most of humanity has between religion, science, and expanding their consciousness. Of course the Emperor, Strength, and Justice are cards that demonstrate a path of overcoming past wrongs and bringing justice and harmony to the world. With this particular show and topic The Lovers card can be read both ways; relating both to the idea of loving what is around you, as well as the idea of making good choices. The High Priestess speaks of the mysteries yet to be uncovered, as well as the mystery of how consciousness can be expanded for the average person. The final cards, The Magician and The Devil, speak that how we view the world is completely up to us. We can see the power that we hold as promised by the Magician, and work to bring beauty and truth to the world. We also can make the choice to keep our minds and beliefs prisoners of outmoded and outdated ideas. That is what The Devil card is about – making one’s own hell, and keeping one’s mind in that hell. This applies to both sides of the fence. Both religious and scientific extremist drag the argument down in their own way and neither side nor the side of consciousness makes any progress.

There were only three Minor Arcana cards that were pulled in synchronicity; the 5 of swords, the 7 of swords, and the 10 of cups.  Both the 5 and the 7 of swords are cards of turmoil, anger, and power seized but not won.  This showed a synchronicity with the Major Arcana cards, and the answers we got to our questions. People will continue to fight – both within the religious community, and the scientific community to prove that they are absolutely right.  This fight to be right was the overlying theme in the synchronicity of the previous broadcast about religion. We had pulled 15 number five cards of all suits.  That much five energy is all about fighting and arguing and not listening at all. Also, on that show we only pulled two Major Arcana cards.  A topic as important as religion is to many people should be represented by more Major Arcana cards pulled.  With that small of a number of majors being pulled, the Universe via the tarot is telling us that religion is not the answer and that there is something much bigger and more profound that we need to understand. Considering that this show was about consciousness affecting both science and religion and the Major Arcana cards pulled, the cards showed that the Universe is a lot more interested in the general expansion of consciousness amongst the human race.  As long as people are fighting, it will be hard to see any growth in consciousness. However, the 10 cups does offer hope in the long run; this is the card of abundance and happiness. This is the way to a happy, interesting future life – an open mind and an open heart with consciousness steadily increasing.  This is the way to have the best of all worlds. Are you ready? U-Predict…
